Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with marginally operable cT3-4NxM0 thoracic esophageal cancer were enrolled to preoperative concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) regimen.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pathological diagnosis excepting for squamous cell carcinoma
