Inclusion criteria: Outpatients with depression treated at Osaka Institute of Psychiatry Shin-Abuyama Hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) subjects who do not accept the informed consent 2) subjects who routinely take prebiotics or probiotics
