Obesity, Non alcoholic fatty liver diseases (NAFLD)

Interventions

Restriction of calorie intake and exercise for more than 6 months in obese children and patients with NAFLD. Approximately 20 minutes of exercise using ergometer (once per tested person)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Children (6 to 18 years) who receive the lecture for health and obtain informed consent at Mie National Hospital. (2) Children (9 to 15 years) who attend the healthy camp and obtain informed consent at Mie National Hospital. (3) Children (6 to 18 years) who received diet and exercise therapy and obtain informed consent at Mie National Hospital. (4) Patients with NAFLD (equal or more than 18 years) who received diet and exercise therapy and obtain informed consent at Mie University Hospital. (5) Healthy students of Mie University who perform exercise training routinely and obtain informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Subjects who cannot declare their intention. (2) Subjects whom doctors or researchers judged as inappropriate for the study.

Anthropometric data, body composition data and circulating EV number and component after receiving diet and exercise therapy,

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Adipokines, myokines and hepatokines, lipid and glucose metabolism markers, and liver and kidney function markers after diet and exercise therapy.
