Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: newly diagnosed very severe NPDR or PDR

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: other retinal disease such as retinal vein occlusion or uveitis, a history of intraocular surgery within 6 months, a history of other intraocular treatments such as intravitreal injection
