Inclusion criteria: Members of the Japan Ground Self Defense Force, who were undergoing field training

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Edentulous subjects 2) Subjects using antibacterial drug 3) Subjects using xylitol chewing gum routinely
