Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy adults; Stroke patients with hemiparesis; no cognitive deficits; less than two scores of SIAS knee-mouth test; passive range of movement is <120 (shoulder flexion)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Contraindication to the exercise for severe heart, lung and other disease (2) Contraindication to electric muscle stimulation (3) Patients who can not record electroencephalogram because of epilepsy or trauma injury.
