Interventions

Subjects eat 3g of furikake containing Pediococcus pentosaceus LP28 for 12 weeks. Subjects eat 3g of furikake without Pediococcus pentosaceus LP28 for 12 weeks.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: BMI between 25 and 30 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Taking medicines or receiving health guidance for hypertension, diabetes, and/or hyperlipidemia 2) Systolic blood pressure >=140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure >=90 mmHg, several times in different days 3) Taking drugs or functional food that may affect the trial 4) Participation in any clinical trial within 90 days of the commencement of the trial 5) In pregnancy or nursing a child 6) History of severe disease and/or major surgery 7) Judged as ineligible by clinical investigators
