Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Symptomatic patients with pulmonary thromboembolism who were hospitalized in a single cardiovascular institute between February 2015 and December 2016.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with unstable hemodynamics with massive thromboembolism. 2. Patients with active bleeding. 3. Patients with plenty of deep vein thrombus who needed thrombolytic therapy.
