Change in the dosing schedule of the ongoing laxative administration from bedtime to 6 to 8 hours before bedtime with no change in dose.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: * Presence of refractory constipation * Use of sennosides at bedtime * Receipt of levodopa treatment in the last 2 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded from analysis if they received an enema or the dose of sennosides or levodopa was changed during the study period.
