Bifidobacterium containing yogurt intake once a day for 8 weeks Bifidobacterium non-containing yogurt intake once a day for 8 weeks Sham control

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Chronic Periodontitis Maintenance phase Probing pocket depths 5mm<=, =>7mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with serious disease Allergy in food (especially dairy product) Smoker Lactating period Pregnant Antibiotics intake during 3 months Antiplatelet agent intake Yogurt, fermented milk drink and intestinal drug intake more than three times a week during 3 months Participated in other clinical trials during one month Drugs, supplements and foods which affect the result of the trial
