To let type 2 diabetics drink about 1L/day of yakon tea.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 20-years-old and older type 2 diabetics who are admitting to Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes Mellitus of Fukuoka University Chikushi Hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with 1) diabetic ketoasidosis, diabetic coma 2) severe liver/kidney dysfunction 3) severe infection, perioperative state, severe wound 4) pregnancy, possible pregnancy, breast feeding 5) past history of allergic reactions to yakon tea 6) medical history of severe cerebro/cardiovascular disease within 6 months 7) nonquolification for this trial by doctors
