Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Randomized controlled trials including the following PICO: Patients) receiving any peripheral nerve block Intervention and Control) intravenous and/or perineural dexamethasone and placebo Outcome) the duration of analgesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: case reports, reviews, manikin studies, and animal studies. Eligibility is not restricted by language.
