Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Approximately 300 surgically resected esophageal cancer patients at the National Cancer Center Hospital East during the period from 2000 January 1 to 2011 December 31, whom paraffin-embedded blocks of tissue microarray specimens were stored in the National Cancer Center Exploratory Oncology Research and Clinical Trial Center

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Whom specimens can not be used for analysis during the sample preparation of the tissue microarray specimens
