Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: healthy volunteer, patients with diabetes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were as follows: 1) patients who took a a therapeutic agent for hyperuricemia, and 2) patients who were disqualified by the attending physician.
