Interventions

The participants ingest 50mg of beta-glucan twice a day for 6 months via either a naso-gastric tube, gastric fistula or intestinal fistula. No treatment

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients receiving nutrition via naso-gastric tube, gastric fistula or intestinal fistula at a long-term care hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients whose condition is unstable
