Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study population consisted of patients who were examined and underwent palatine tonsillectomy at Nagoya University Hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ingredients of the drugs to be prescribed, patients under 15 years of age, and those being treated with other antimicrobial agents were excluded from the study.
