Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Outpatients undergoing carotid endarterectomy in the Department of Neurosurgery of our hospital 2. Patients who are able to attend the hospital 3. Age: 20 years of age and older, and below 80 years old 4. Patients providing written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects who have been determined to be unsuitable for the attending physician
