Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were planned surgery and written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were comorbid conditions affecting exercise performance (e.g. musculoskeletal or neurological impairment) and re-operation, serious organ dysfunction.
