Inclusion criteria: non-resectable distal malignant biliary obstruction Written informed consent was obtained from all patients before the procedures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: difficult to approach by endoscope Patients with ascites Patients with hilar obstruction World Health Organization performance status of 4
