Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We registered patients who were admitted to Kumamoto University Hospital for acute myocardial infarction and who did not have atherosclerotic diseases

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. end-stage renal disease on hemodialysis 2. severe liver dysfunction 3. malignant disease with severe prognosis 4. other inflammatory disease 5. severe sickness
