Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: hip fracture patients undergoing arthroplasty or internal fixation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: severe comorbidities dementia severe sensory deficit contraindications for electrical stimulation (e.g.,a pacemaker) inability to give informed consent form
