Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Eligibility criteria are an age of 20 years and older, a symptom of diarrhea or vomiting, a diagnosis of acute infectious gastroenteritis by a physician.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Under 20 years old An inability to obtain informed consent Patients with gastrointestinal tract problems (e.g colon cancer, inflammatory bowel disease) Patients who need antibiotics for treatment Pregnant or suspicion of being pregnant Female with brest feeding Patients with known severe liver dysfunction
