Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia just before surgery 2) Patients with prostate cancer just before surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Past history of anorectal surgery 2) Past history of urethral or prostatic surgery 3) Stricture of anorectum 4) Past history of radiation therapy for pelvic organs 5) History of severe neurogenic disorder of lower urinary tract including Parkinson disease, diabetes mellitus, etc.
