Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: heart failure patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Allergy to DPP4 inhibitor 2.poorly-controled diabetes mellites (HbA1c over 8.0%) 3.under incretin related drug therapy 4.under insulin and sulphonylurea therapy 5.critical arrhythmias (sustained ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, long QT syndrome, 2 to 3 degree AV block etc) 6.acute coronary syndrome 7.CABG or PCI planned within 6 months 8.renal dysfunction (Cre over 2.0mg/dl or CCr under 30 ml/min) 9.severe liver dysfunction or any life-threatening acute diseases 10.pregnacy 11.poor prognosis 12.alcohol or drug addiction 13.lack of written informed consent 14.other ineligibility judged by the doctor in charge
