Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Should be included (a) or (b), and continuing PD therapy within 3 years; (a)ESRD patients continuing PD therapy with Baxter manual system or Baxter UV device system "clean flash" for PD bag exchanges or (b)ESRD patients to start PD therapy for a renal replacement therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Should be excluded even if one of them would be positive; patients under 20 years old, patients continuing PD therapy more than 3 years, or patients on PD therapy except for Baxter system.

1. Duration until the first incidence of peritonitis 2. Incidence of total peritonitis 3. Incidence of peritonitis related to touch-contamination during bag exchanges

1. Peritoneal function (D/P Cre) 2. Residual renal function (residual Kt/V, residual CCre) 3. Technical failure (Duration of PD therapy until withdrawal from PD therapy, prognosis)
