Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meeting the criteria of chronic insomnia according to the second edition of the International Classification of sleep disorders 2. a score of 8 or greater for insomnia as measured by the ISI.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. insomnia due to medical or psychiatric disorders or pharmaceutical causes and 2. the existence of other sleep disorders
