Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) patients with inoperable distal malignant biliary strictures 2) patients with malignant biliary strictur comfirmed histopathologically 3) patients with proximal border of malignant biliary stricture thatis far from hilar at least 2cm away

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Coagulopathy (PT-INR > 1.5, normal 0.85-1.25 or platelet count < 80,000/mm3, normal 150,000-450,000/mm3) 2) Performance status < 3 (scales of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group)
