Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with age related macular degeneration and hypertension (systolic blood pressure of >140mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of >90mmHg at baseline measurement), planned to receive treatment with intravitreal ranibizumab at Tokushima University Hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients refused entry into the study.
