Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with facial palsy normal controls without facial palsy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients or volunteers under 20 years old patients or volunteers without their agreements

MeasureTime frame
1)To identify HSV or VZV DNA in tear and saliva using PCR procedure. 2)To measure HSV and VZV-specific immunoglobulin in patients' blood. 3)To measure VZV-specific cell-mediated immunity in patients with facial palsy using ELISPOT.
