Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Type 1 diabetes for about 10 years, early stages of type 1 diabetes, and conditionally healthy patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Not applicable

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
As a tentative result we found that the breath acetone level declined linearly with the amount of the blood glucose concentration of all persons examined.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
We have demonstrated the possibility of applying the proposed breath analysis method and simple apparatus to the noninvasive monitoring of the blood glucose level.
