Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who undergo mitral valve replacement or mitral valve plasty with or without comcomitant surgical procedures such as tricuspid valve annuloplasty.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients in whom transesophageal echocardiography use is contraindicated(ex. patients with esophageal varices).
