Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who was diagnosed as severe aortic valve stenosis (aortic-valve area less than 1.0cm2 or less than 0.6cm2/m2, mean gradient greater than 40 mm Hg, or jet velocity greater than 4.0 m/s) from January 2003 to December 2011 by transthoracic echocardiography.
