Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) aged between 65 to 79 years, (2) not care-needed or support-needed in Japanese long-term care insurance system, (3) not restricted by a doctor to exercise, and (4) without regular exercise habits

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) high risk of falling (use of walking aid, having knee pain, using 4 or more medications, and history of falls in the previous year), (2) unable to participate in either of the two classes (walking or balance), (3) participated in other clinical trial during the past year.
