Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: the patient was scheduled to undergo oral or maxillofacial surgery requiring nasotracheal intubation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: patients with a history of nasal surgery, trauma, recurrent epistaxis, hemopathy, or coagulopathy were excluded from the study
