Interventions

Levetiracetam (500 mg twice a day) is administered orally to brain tumor patients with epilepsy for preoperative 1-3 days. Phenytoin (250-500 mg) or fosphenytoin (375-750 mg) is administered intraven

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Seizure history attributable to brain tumor, planned intracranial surgery as standard management, aged 20 and over

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy or breast- feeding, allergy to levetiracetam, severe liver or renal dyfunction
