Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) selective cannulation of the bile duct was not possible in 15 minutes and selective cannulation of the pancreatic duct was achieved (2) more than 3 times of unintentional pancreatic duct cannulation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: age less than 20 years, successful deep biliary cannulation within 15 min, surgically altered anatomy (Billroth 2 gastrectomy or Roux-en-Y anastomosis), prior biliary sphincterotomy; uncontrolled coagulopathy, difficulty to pancreatic duct cannulation, and refusal to agree to this study protocols
