Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hypertension in the presence of type 2 diabetes mellitus Systolic pressure or diastolic pressure at medical examination exceeding 130 mmHg or 80 mmHg

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diabetic nephropathy after the late stage of overt nephropathy History of acute coronary syndrome or cerebrovascular disorders within one year of enrolment Severe infection before or after surgery or serious trauma History of hypersensitivity to the study drugs Pregnant women or women with the possibility of being pregnant
