Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all patient with atrial fibrillation enrolled to J-RHYTHM Registry who accepted the informal consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: inadequate patients judged by their physician

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Investigation of clinical background at the development of following clinical event; symptomatic cerebral infarction, systemic embolism, major bleeding, all cause of death

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Preventive effects of various medications including warfarin, antithrombotics drugs and others for the treatment of Japanese patients with atrial fibrillation
