High-frequency deafness

Interventions

Patients with high-freqency deafness who fulfill the trial criteria will be inplanted with electro-acoustic stumulation device after informed consent

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients whose both ears fulfils following limitations Threshold at 125, 250 and 500Hz >= 65dB Threshold at 2000Hz >= 80dB Threshold at 4000 and 8000Hz >= 85dB NB:a single exception among the seven frequencies is accepted 2)Speech descrimination rate with hearing aid in silent booth < 60% 3)age >= 20 4)informed consent 5)patient motivated for hearing improvement

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with metal device in the body Stenosis of intracochlear space for electrodes Active infection of middle ear Severe mental dysfunction Dysfunction in central auditory pathway Severe diease unsuitable for general anesthesia Patients judged unsuitable by the practioner of the trial

To observe whether side effects such as postoperative infection remain prevented or not, and to evaluate auditory and vestubular functions after surgery
