Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing knee surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have contraindications to peripheral nerve blocks, a history of diabetes mellitus, or neurologic disease, or required general anesthesia.

MeasureTime frame
Time required for onset of sensory and motor blockade and duration of blockade

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Block execution time, quality of anesthesia and amount of analgesics administered during surgery, percentage of patients requiring general anesthesia, and postoperative complications.
