Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with globus sensation and/or dysphagia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All patients underwent both the larygoscopy and the upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to exclude organic diseases.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
During observation of the cricopharyngeal (CP) wall motion by US method using TDI, subjects were instructed to swallow 5cc of viscous every one minute 5 times gently.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
All subjects underwent esophageal mamometry after the US examination.
