Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who showed writtten informed consent to take part in this trial. 2. Type 2 diabetic patients 3.Patients whose blood pressure is 130/80 mmHg ot higher 4. Patients taking calcium channel bloker other than cilnidipine for 3 months or longer

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Malignant hypertension 2. (possible) pregnant women 3. Severe liver dysfunction 4. History of severe side effects to calcium channel blockers 5. Patients who was considered to be difficult to take part in this trial by physician in charge
