Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) superficial esophageal cancer larger than 10 mm in size and histologically confirmed as squamous-cell carcinoma or high grade intraepithelial neoplasia 2) Written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) severe complication 2) having prior radiotherapy for the esophagus 3) having prior chemotherapy 4) contraindication for biopsy and endoscopic treatment 5) inadequate to entry considered by each investigator
