Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: We examined children who attended preschools in Tokyo, Japan. The preschools were within 2 km of one another.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individual with a history of regular antibiotics medication or habitual xylitol gum consumption.
