Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: type 2 diabetes mellitus

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Nobody had hepatic or renal dysfunction or nutritional derangements. Patients who had taken metformin or pioglitazone in the past were excluded from this study.
