We will aspirate debris and blood routinely before retrieval of filter protection devices.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with carotid artery stenosis of 60% and more in symptomatic stenosis, and 80% and more in asymptomatic stenosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with previous severe disabling stroke.

MeasureTime frame
Number and size of aspirated debris. Neurological status one month after the procedure.
