Interventions
Patients with glaucoma who do not have the past-history of phacoemulsification are treated with trabeculectomy.
Patients with glaucoma who do have the past-history of phacoemulsification are treated

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with primary open-angle glaucoma or exfoliation glaucoma. Intraocular pressure levels of higher than 21 mmHg before trabeculectomy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who have been previously treated with trabeculectomy. Patients who have been treated with intraocular surgeries other than phacoemulsification.
