Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Perennial asthmatic patients visiting our outpatient clinic, who have been treated with inhaled corticosteroid and are stable for at least 6 months with FEV1<80% or FEV1/FVC<70% or %MMF<70% after inhalation of 200 mcg of salbutamol, and are never- or non-current nonsmokers with a smoking history of <5 pack-years, and were never treated with leukotriene receptor antagonists.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects who suffered from respiratory tract infection in the previous month. Subjects who were taking NSAIDs.
