Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Subjects who meet the diagnostic criteria for herpes zoster; ? Patients over age 18 years; ? Diagnosis as herpes zoster and blisters occur within 3 days; ? Patients voluntarily participated and signed the informed consent forms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Consciousness disorders , expressive disorder and mental disorders; ? Malignant tumor or other serious wasting disease, and susceptible to concomitant infection and bleeding; ? Suffering from HIV infection and other severe impaired immune function; ? Patients merged with high fever, pneumonia and encephalitis; ? Diagnosis as herpes zoster ophthalmicus, herpes zoster oticus, disseminated herpes zoster, hemorrhagic herpes zoster or gangrenous herpes zoster; ? With contraindications for the use of western medicine or acupuncture; ? Planning pregnancy and lactating women; ? Subjects who are not sure whether they will complete the follow up; ? Other factors that researchers considered inappropriate for participation.
