Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Suffering from chronic lower back pain (intermittent or persistent pain between the 12th rib of the lower back and the inferior gluteal crease, with or without radiating pain posterolateral of the femur, lasting for more than three months); 2.Above 65 years old; 3.Retired; 4.Signed the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Not fulfilling the diagnostic criteria and the inclusion criteria; 2.Having back surgery in the past 10 years; 3.Diagnosed with having lower back tumor, lower back infection, fracture of lumbar vertebra and serious osteoporosis; 4.Without self-care ability; 5.Receiving treatment for lower back pain other than Chinese medicine; 6.Pregnant women.
